Day of Fire: Song by Song

Through the Fire - This is one of the first songs Gregg and I wrote together. Inspired by Isaiah 43:1-3, the Lord guarantees us that we will go through many dangerous trials and that He will bring us through every one.

Detainer - Matthew 16:24-27 speaks of the divine exchange reminding us that we must let go of the things of the world to obtain the kingdom of Heaven.

Cornerstone - In 2003, Tornados swept through and destroyed much of downtown Jackson, TN. Our church formed a ministry to reach out to thost most affected by the tornados. "Cornerstone" was a prayer that those who lost their homes would be able to rebuild their lives on the foundation of the love of Jesus Christ.

Time - Romans 13:11, 1 John 2:18, 1 Timothy 4:1 A call to the church and the unbeliever to wake from our present slumber.

Fade Away - A call to God for salvation and deliverance from our former ways of life.

I Am The Door - This song is about stepping out of the darkness of Sin and the destructive patterns of the old self into the light of God. Jesus tells us that He is the door. He is the way to the new life. John 10:1-18

Jacob's Dream - The story of Jacob and his search for the living God. Genesis 28:10-22

Reap and Sow - This song is a declaration of change. A declaration to advance the kingdom of Heaven, Matthew 11:12, and a declaration that our enemy will fall into his own trap.

To Fly - This is an evangelistic song. This song speaks to the heart of God to the believer and the unbeliever alike.
